Gone are the days when you had to choose between square and rectangular tiles. Hexagonal tiles have made a stylish comeback, and the Hexatile collection is here to impress. This collection is incredibly versatile, catering to designers who want to create either a classic setting with neutral tones or a contemporary space with a distinctive flair. Some tiles feature traditional hydraulic patterns, while others present a modern twist on classic cement tiles. The Centura Floor Tiles Hexatile Cement White Matte, measuring 7" x 8" and covering 7.69 square feet per box, offer the perfect blend of style and functionality for any homeowner looking to elevate their space.
This is one of many floor tiles options at our showroom, including a wide range from other brands. You can also see all from Centura at the Quality Red Tag Floors warehouse on Roper Road in Edmonton, or request a quote on your install.
Floor tile is rated to handle foot traffic and has a higher hardness rating (PEI). Wall tile is thinner and lighter and is not designed to be walked on. Floor tile can usually be used on walls, but wall tile should never go on the floor.
PEI 3 is fine for most residential floors. Entryways, kitchens, and commercial spaces should use PEI 4 or 5. Walls and backsplashes only need PEI 1 or 2. We will steer you to the right rating when you visit our Edmonton showroom.
Yes. Porcelain and ceramic tile are excellent over radiant heat because they conduct warmth evenly. Just make sure to follow the heating system manufacturer's ramp-up guidelines after grouting.
A typical bathroom or entryway runs two to four days, accounting for layout, setting, grout cure, and sealing. Larger kitchens and basements take longer. Our installer will give you an accurate timeline with your quote.
Sweep regularly and damp-mop with a mild neutral cleaner. Avoid acidic or harsh chemicals on natural stone or grout. Re-sealing grout every couple of years keeps it looking new.
