Do I need a separate underpad?
Yes. A good underpad protects the carpet, improves comfort, and is usually required to keep the warranty valid. We stock matching underpads for every carpet we sell.
Can carpet go in a basement?
Yes, with a synthetic-fibre carpet and a moisture-resistant underpad. Some clients prefer carpet tiles for basements because individual tiles can be lifted and replaced if there is a leak.
How long does carpet last?
A well-chosen residential carpet should comfortably last ten to fifteen years. Higher pile densities, premium fibres, and regular cleaning extend that further.
